Job Description
- You will gain valuable practical experience and insights in the field of research & development as part of an internship, a working student position or a thesis
- You will have the opportunity to actively work on exciting topics in the following areas
- Mechanical design and “rapid prototyping”, including e.g. 3D printing
- Numerical simulation
- Heat transport and thermodynamics
- Development of electronic circuits and firmware programming
- Material characterization with thermoanalytical and rheological methods
- You will take on responsible tasks, e.g:
- Supervision of experimental setups, validation and evaluation of experiments
- Development of technical concepts
- Development and testing of functional assemblies/prototypes
- Analysis and optimization of existing technical solutions
- You will get to know various devices for thermal analysis and rheology and gain insights into different material classes
Qualifications
- You are a student (m/f/d) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, physics, process engineering, materials science or a comparable scientific/technical degree program
- You have a good technical understanding
- You work conscientiously, carefully, in a structured manner and are a team player
- You are highly motivated and reliable
- You have a good command of written and spoken German and English
