This challenge awaits you:
For our team in Berlin or Gifhorn, we are looking for a student employee in the field of embedded software development, both as a working student and in the form of a thesis.
Your Tasks:
- Work on embedded real-time systems, primarily in the automotive powertrain sector - from conception to commissioning
- System architecture, systems engineering, requirements management, implementation, system integration
- Model-based or code-driven software development
- Use of specialist and methodological knowledge in the field of embedded software development as well as in the digitalization and automation of processes
- Co-designing software systems of the future for electromobility and fuel cells in combination with the further development of software for current hybrid and combustion engines
Necessary Skills:
- Ongoing studies with a focus on computer science, computer engineering or a comparable course of study
- Programming knowledge and experience in C, additional scripting languages advantageous
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of embedded real-time systems in the field of automotive, powertrain, drones or robotics
- Understanding of software development processes and methods (e.g. SPICE, SCRUM, etc.)
- Very good knowledge of German (C1 or native speaker) and good knowledge of English
- Structured way of working, initiative, creativity
