Who are we?
Your tasks:
· Get acquainted with semantic communications architectural aspects; main AI/ML models that are useful in the context.· Analyse existing experimental (simulators and simulation modules/packages) that can be useful in the context of setting up a simulation environment of a specific IIoT use-case.· Contribute to the analysis of decentralized learning approaches based on related literature, suitable for semantic communications.· Assist the development of a simulation environment for explaining the applicability of semantic communications for IIoT.Your profile:
· Currently enrolled on a Master’s degree in computer science, information systems or similar.· Practical experience with discrete event networking simulation tools such as ns-3, OMNET.· Practical experience in programming languages preferably C/C++, python.· Experience with networking concepts, in particular forwarding and routing; wireless OSI MAC layer; OSI IP layer.· Good communication skills in English, basic German skills is a plus.Our offer:
