Job Description:

Microchip Technology Incorporated is a leading provider of field-programmable embedded control solutions, offering a broad spectrum of innovative microcontrollers, analog, mixed-signal, and security products, wired and wireless connectivity products, related non-volatile memory products, and Flash-IP solutions.

Our plant in Neckarbischofsheim currently develops and manufactures precision quartz crystals and quartz oscillators with around 130 employees. These products are used in telecommunications, test and measurement technology, medical technology, and radar systems.

Become part of our team in assembly production and report to the production manager of assembly manufacturing.

In this position, you will gain valuable knowledge in a variety of technical fields and serve as a cross-functional link between all operational departments.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the optimization of production processes
• Support the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing technologies and processes
• Create and maintain small project plans
• Support and document technical feasibility analyses
• Participate in cost calculations for offers regarding production times and one-time costs
• Prepare technically necessary documents and regulations
• Oversee and plan prototype and first-sample processes as well as series introduction
• Assist in performing maintenance, calibration, and qualification work, including supervising external companies
• Independently analyze malfunctions and errors and support troubleshooting
• Communicate with relevant interfaces in other departments

Werden Sie Teil unseres Teams in der Baugruppenfertigung und berichten an den Produktionsleiter der Baugruppenfertigung.

In dieser Position wird Ihnen wertvolles Wissen in einer Vielzahl von technischen Bereichen vermittelt, zudem sind Sie ein crossfunktionales Bindeglied zwischen allen operativen Abteilungen.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

• Mitarbeit bei der Optimierung von Produktionsprozessen​
• Unterstützen bei Konzeption, Einführung und Optimierung von Fertigungstechnologien sowie Prozessen​
• Erstellen und Pflege kleinerer Projektpläne​
• Unterstützung und Dokumentation bei technischen Machbarkeitsanalysen​
• Mitwirkung bei Angebotskalkulationen hinsichtlich Fertigungszeiten und Einmalkosten​
• Erstellung technisch notwendiger Dokumente und Vorschriften​
• Begleitung und Planung der Prototypen- und Erstmusterprozesse sowie Serieneinführung​
• Mitarbeit bei der Durchführung von Wartungs-, Kalibrierungs-, und Qualifizierungsarbeiten inkl. Betreuung von Fremdfirmen​
• selbstständiges Analysieren von Störungen und Fehlern sowie das Begleiten der Störungsbeseitigung​
• Kommunikation mit relevanten Schnittstellen anderer Abteilungen​

Requirements/Qualifications:

Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, such as apprenticeship, master craftsman, technician, etc., or experience in the fields of mechatronics, electrical engineering, or automation. The position is also suitable for career changers (m/f/d), provided the requirements are met.

Competencies:

• Previous experience in the electronics sector (SMD/T and THT production) is desirable
• Strong sense of quality, cost-effectiveness, and responsibility
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP), especially Excel
• Initiative, independent, structured, transparent, and reliable working style, as well as team spirit
• Technical knowledge and manual skills
• Proficiency in German, both spoken and written, is essential; English skills are an advantage

Qualifikationen und Erfahrung:
