Job Summary
As a Strategic Supply Chain Planning Intern, you will be able to learn planning processes, participate in daily business, generate, and analyse data to contribute to decision making, identify savings, productivity, and process improvement opportunities. This is a unique opportunity to get the knowledge of supply chain end-to-end on a global level, work within a truly multifunctional and international team on challenging projects and daily operations.
Primary Responsibilities
Working on projects to improve SIOP alignment process.
Engaged in various SC planning transformation projects.
Gaining knowledge about overall SC operation and functional interactions. Learn Supply Chain best practices and/or tools (e.g., purchase-to-pay process, distribution, logistics, value stream mapping).
Further tasks not included in this job description are assigned by the manager verbally or written.
Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies
Student of master’s degree studies in the field of business administration or (industrial) engineering with a focus on supply chain management or logistics (university or university of applied science), or equivalent knowledge or experience.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including a high proficiency in Excel; knowledge in Power BI preferred.
Strong analytical skills and personal drive.
Ability to learn new systems, works independently and as a team player.
Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills in English and German.
