The main goal of this work is the planning and commissioning of a digital interface that enables the acquisition of machine data from Beckhoff and Siemens controls in real-time via DEWESOFT.

Your tasks:

• Familiarization with measurement tasks and automation technology at Groz-Beckert
• Deepening knowledge of DEWESOFT's data acquisition systems and the machine controls of Beckhoff and Siemens
• Planning and implementation of the interface between DEWESOFT and the machine controls
• Conducting tests to determine the performance and reliability of the interface
• Creation of comprehensive documentation that documents all steps of planning, implementation, and testing

Your profile:

• Study in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related course of study
• Good understanding of measurement tasks and automation technology
• Knowledge in the areas of Beckhoff, Siemens, and OPC UA is advantageous
• Programming skills are desirable, especially in the context of PLC
• A precise and structured way of working as well as the ability to document projects
