This challenge awaits you:

The internship lasts at least 3 months with the possibility of starting both student research projects and final theses or working as a student employee afterwards.

Your Tasks:

• You will develop new technologies and concepts for CO2-neutral drives for sustainable mobility.
• You are responsible for the planning and preparation of tests on test benches for complete drives and their components.
• You will be responsible for carrying out and supporting test bench trials (testing) at the IAV Testing Center Berlin.
• You will evaluate and present measurement results.
• Your tasks will also include regular communication and coordination with the development team (concept, simulation, test bench) to ensure precise adaptation of the powertrain. 

Necessary Skills:

• Ongoing studies with an engineering focus - e.g. mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, automotive systems, energy and process engineering, physical engineering or similar
• Initial experience in experimental investigations and measurement technology an advantage
• Knowledge of programming (e.g. Matlab/Simulink), control engineering or control units is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of English and presentation skills

• Strong ability to think analytically and conceptually
• Quick comprehension and a goal-oriented, pragmatic way of working
