As an intern in our department, we offer you valuable insights into the development of innovative electrified vehicle powertrains. You will have the opportunity to work on current technology development projects such as the VISION EQXX and put your theoretical knowledge to practical use. You will also gain in-depth insights into the diverse activities of an application engineer.
These are some of the challenges you will face
- Planning and carrying out tests on a drivetrain test bench
- Analysis and evaluation of measurement data (Matlab, Canape, ...)
- Further development of evaluation tools in Matlab and Python
- Further development of the software-in-the-loop system
- Concept development and programming of test cases for software-in-the-loop systems and test bench
- Efficiency optimization of the control of the Electric Drive
- Updating control units in the powertrain
- Support in the creation of project reports
- Support in day-to-day business
- Degree program: Degree with a technical focus (e.g. mechanical engineering / automotive engineering / electrical engineering / control engineering / mechatronics / computer science), completed basic studies / Bachelor's degree
- During the internship, you are at most in the second semester above the standard period of study
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- MS Office, knowledge of control engineering / vehicle technology / electric drives, knowledge of programming with MATLAB and Python
