Internship in factory planning from October 2024

In the Global Site Development department within Factory Planning, we would like to automate and digitalize our cost calculation system as a strategic tool. We are looking for you to develop, design and implement digitalization: your good ideas and your commitment.

You will face these challenges:

• Creating a characteristic value database from existing raw data
• Connecting external systems to the characteristic value database
• IT-technical development of a calculation methodology with data from the characteristic value database
• Supplementing and evaluating the characteristic value database in a digital tool
• Creation of the future vision of our cost calculation in a specified digital tool
• Discussions with and support for our IT partners to create the future vision of the digital tool
• Improving the processes and method modules of FP cost determination over the entire course of the project
• Willingness to learn new IT programs and independently acquire programming skills
• Integration of AI into the cost planning process
• Collaboration in factory and location development

• Degree course with a technical or technical-economic background or IT technical degree course, alternatively: technical affinity
• IT affinity and openness to dealing with new IT systems
• Confident written and spoken German and English skills
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Communicative, confident and self-assured demeanor, also for presentation in hierarchies
• Motivation, passion and commitment to familiarize yourself with new topics
• Independent, autonomous and structured working style
• Commitment and ability to work in a team
• Analytical mindset and strategic way of working

Further information

• Knowledge of databases
• Experience in web programming, e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Programming knowledge in low code applications desirable (e.g. Mendix)
