Internship in sports, design and NFT communication from September 2024

We in the "Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans Communications" department are responsible for PR and public relations for our products and the Mercedes-Benz brand. This also includes the topics of sport, design and NFT, which are bundled in our team. We are looking for you as an intern for Design, Sports, Entertainment & NFT Communication for this exciting and varied area.

We are looking for a dedicated intern to support our PR and communications work for 6 months from September 2024 in our exciting subject area "Sports, Design & NFT".

Your tasks will include:

• Assisting with public relations work in design, NFT and sports communication
• Support in the conception, planning and organization of PR/press events in the areas of design and sports sponsorship
• Supporting the communication of NFT activities and contributing your own ideas for their strategic development
• Communicative implementation of the international sports sponsorship of Mercedes-Benz with a focus on the core sports of golf and esports
• Implementation of communication measures with our brand ambassadors Roger Federer and Bernhard Langer as well as sports influencers
• Active participation in writing and sending press releases in German and English
• Supporting and maintaining contact with external sports, automotive and business media, associations and external partners
• Independent writing of articles for the Mercedes-Benz social intranet
• Monitoring the media landscape and creating and preparing clippings

• Degree in corporate communications, communication science, journalism, public relations, economics or a comparable course of study
• Proficient in written and spoken German and English
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Initial professional experience in media relations or the automotive industry is an advantage
• Flexibility, commitment and ability to work in a team
• Independent, reliable and strategic way of working
• Important note or prerequisite: Intern must be enrolled during the internship period
