Your Role
We are seeking passionate and talented students who want to achieve impact by shaping next-generation products at ZEISS. Integrated in a team of scientists, students, and research engineers, you will work (for at least 6 months) on building a prototype for a novel device that allows to effortlessly control a complex robotic system. You will combine mechanical design, electronics, and programming. Your work will build a part of an innovative system that leverages tomorrow's technologies.

Your Profile
You are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master's degree in Mechanics / Electronics / Robotics or similar
You have strong experiences with mechanical design (using tools such as Fusion 360 or SolidWorks)
You have good knowledge in electronics and wiring
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or C++
Experience with ROS / ROS2 is a plus
Experience with computer vision is a plus
You are interested in technology and motivated to work on challenging tasks
You are ready to explore with a high degree of initiative and creativity and have a maker mindset
You are eager to learn, well organized, detail oriented
You are willing to collaborate and work in complementary teams
Good communication skills in English
