Compulsory internship in the field of planning electric drives from August 2024

Our PT/PPLE department is responsible for the production planning of electric drive systems. Current projects are the eATS 2.0 with the aim of establishing a global and deliverable production network for the upcoming vehicle series.

You will face these challenges:

• Collaboration in the specification of production equipment/production aids
• Coordination, monitoring and evaluation of machine acceptance tests after conversions
• Assisting with the preparation of status reports and decision papers
• Supporting the ramp-up of new products
• Indirect collaboration in IPV workshops requires a confident manner, moderation skills and a flair for dealing with people
• The job also involves preparing the workshops, which includes developing data bases and schedules
• Collaboration on production scenarios taking into account standard production concepts
• Participation in product sub-project management in the planning of future Mercedes-Benz drive technology vehicles
• Collaboration in project management (tender and specification creation, concept evaluation, cost and deadline tracking, preparation and follow-up of project meetings, system maintenance)
• Involvement in day-to-day operations to gain practical experience, e.g. in the planning and implementation of system overhauls

• Degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable course of study
• Proficient in written and spoken German and English
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Commitment
• Analytical and conceptual skills are an advantage
• Logical and structured thinking desirable
• Practical orientation
• Team and communication skills as well as independence
• Intercultural experience, project experience and technical understanding desirable
