Mandatory internship in transmission production at Mercedes-Benz from September 2024

The Mercedes-Benz Untertürkheim plant is the largest location in the global Mercedes-Benz Powertrain production network and extends over several plant sections in the Neckar valley. Transmission production takes place in the Hedelfingen plant section. Battery systems for the all-electric EQ models EQS and EQE have also been produced here since 2021. The plant section will also produce parts for electric drive units from 2024.

These are some of the challenges you will face:

• Helping to shape processes of large-scale production and contributing optimization ideas by analyzing specific issues, generating potentials and putting them into practice
• Supporting colleagues in the areas of efficiency, sustainability and quality
• Demonstrate your personal skills and competencies and expand them during the internship

• Technical degree with a focus on production, process and environmental engineering, supply chain or a comparable course of study
• Proficient in written and spoken German and English
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Commitment and ability to work in a team
• Dedication to green production
• Analytical mindset and strategic way of working
