Mandatory internship in the area of Start-up Management Supply Chain Battery & Motor from September 2024

The Powertrain Alliance produces the heart of the automobile worldwide (including at the Stuttgart site): the powertrain. We are in the midst of a transformation from the classic "combustion engine" to the "electric drive". In ramp-up management, it is important to shape this transformation and to be there live when electric components of the powertrain are created. We make a valuable contribution to the maturity level of the new products. For example, you will be there live when we enable new suppliers within a task force, manage bottlenecks or monitor the development status together with R&D.

These are some of the challenges you will face:

• Creating transparency on maturity level, purchasing deals, first sample delivery and parts availability throughout the logistics and production process for purchased and in-house parts as well as regular reporting on project progress
• Escalation of critical issues (RG, EKA, parts availability for the respective process phases pilot series and production tests) to strategic project management
• Carrying out planning activities in the start-up phase for in-house and purchased parts. (including connection of all new suppliers)
• Presentation of all upcoming technical changes to the product in the development cycle
• Transparency of requirements and capacities
• Creation of individual commissions for the start-up factory

• Completed studies in the field of industrial engineering, business administration (ideally with a focus on supply chain management)
• Proficient in written and spoken German and English
• Confident handling of MS-Office
• Commitment and ability to work in a team
• Analytical mindset and strategic way of working

Please note that your internship at this location must include a mandatory component.
