Mars is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Category Management Intern/Working Student (all genders) to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will be offered a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in category management while contributing to various tasks critical to our business's success. You will work closely with the Category Management team to support in-depth competitor analysis, planogram creation, reporting, trade deck preparation, promotional insights, and more.

What are we looking for?
Student (all genders) with good academic track record and/or gap year between bachelor’s and master’s degree.
Pro-activity, flexibility and passion to accelerate own projects.
Analytical thinking and a structured way of working.
Good communication skills in German and English are a must (written and spoken).
Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power Point.
Someone who is looking to start a career rather than for an in-between job.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Conduct comprehensive competitor analysis to identify market trends, product assortments, pricing strategies, and promotional activities generating valuable insights for decision-making.
Assist in the creation of planograms and provide support to ensure efficient execution.
Generate periodic reports for activities such as period close, innovation tracking, and other relevant metrics, leveraging collected data to identify insights and propose actionable strategies. Present findings during bi-periodical or quarterly meetings.
Support in the development of trade presentations for customer meetings by gathering and organizing relevant data and insights.
Analyze promotional insights tailored to different customer segments and actively participate in the Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) process through close collaboration.
