Within BayWa r.e.’s Operations Business, we maintain and operate an asset fleet of more than 10GW of Wind & PV installations globally. We service these assets with 800+ technical and commercial colleagues, organized in local country organizations in our different markets. Our focus is to optimize the performance and longevity of each asset while ensuring the safety of our people, for both our internal and external customers. Within Operations Business Segment, BayWa r.e. Data Services GmbH is expanding its offerings in the fields of data acquisition, SCADA services, 24/7 monitoring and data utilization as a foundation for safe operations and optimized asset performance, as well as for providing employees and customers with the best data base for adopting digital solutions.  
We are currently looking for a Working Student Full Stack Development (m/f/d) to join our team. This position is perfect for students who want to engage deeply with both frontend and backend technologies while working in the renewable energy sector.

About the role 

Are you passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technology to solve complex problems? As a Working Student in Full Stack Development (m/f/d) you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a dynamic, innovative environment where your contributions directly impact our customers' operational excellence. You’ll play a key role in building and refining data products that automate processes and drive business success.

What you will do 

• You Develop and enhance the interactive user interface (UI) using ReactJS, tailored for dynamic data management experiences.
• Implement and maintain backend services using NodeJS that interact with Azure SQL for data handling and processing.
• Contribute to both small-scale and large-scale data operations using Azure Data Factory (ADF) for effective data transformations.
• Ensure the robustness of applications by developing in TypeScript, enhancing code quality and maintainability.Support the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and manage version control using Git.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, and NodeJS.
• Experience with SQL and database management, preferably with Azure SQL.
• Strong interest in both frontend and backend web development.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, with proficiency in English; German is a plus.
