Job Description
- During your assignment, you will become familiar with simulation and modelling in the field of additive manufacturing for metallic materials (especially LPBF process).
- You will optimize and calibrate the existing process simulation of the Laser Powder Bed Fusion process.
- You will systematically analyse and evaluate the influence of process parameters and structural parameters on the part quality
- Last but not least, you will document and present the results.
Qualifications
- Education: Master studies in the field of Simulation Technology, Computational Science, Mechanical engineering or comparable
- Experience and Knowledge: expertise in FEM simulation and modelling, experience with the laser powder bed fusion process as a plus
- Personality and Working Practice: independent, structured and self-motivated
- Languages: very good in English or German
Additional Information
Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months
