Then you've come to the right place! Become a part of the Mercedes Benz supply chain team as an intern - getting you there.
We support and manage over 600 suppliers worldwide from Böblingen and, with the support of our service providers, ensure that our assembly plant in Alabama, USA is supplied on time with components for the production of the GLE SUV, GLS SUV, EQE SUV, EQS SUV vehicles via sea and air freight.
These are some of the challenges you will face:
- An eye for detail - you create regular reports, fill dashboards with the most important key figures and support the team in managing the supply chain from the supplier to the assembly plant in the USA
- Customer focus - You take part in internal team meetings as well as international meetings with our US colleague in the assembly plant, our German service providers and suppliers around the globe in the form of TEAMS video calls
- Strong together - you will support the team with daily administrative tasks and the organization of internal team project meetings and help with the preparation of presentations
- Responsibility - You develop decision documents in collaboration with the responsible persons
- Degree in economics, business administration, logistics or a comparable course of study
- Proficient in written and spoken German and English
- Confident handling of MS Office
- Commitment and ability to work in a team
- Analytical mindset and strategic way of working
- You are open, communicative and a team player
- You enjoy the challenge of communicating and collaborating in and with an international environment
