Duration: 6 months
Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Simulation / Modeling of the laser peening forming process for shaping aluminum alloys sheets
Formulation of a closed loop forming concept with metrology system in the loop
Development of an algorithm for automated programming of the laser peening
Preliminary validation on the base of already available small scale test results
Definition of further tests to validate the developed model
Desired skills and qualifications
Enrolled full-time master student (d/f/m) in the area of aeronautical/mechanical engineering or an equivalent field of study.
First practical experience with C++ and/or Python and Matlab is desirable.
First practical experience with Finite Element analysis is desirable.
Fluent in English, German is a plus.
