Job Description
Our department at Bosch Abstatt is responsible for function and software development for braking systems. In our team we develop solutions for longitudinal vehicle control for assisted and automated driving and parking along with the required redundancy mechanisms and driver supporting brake boost functions. To support our team of engineers and developers we are searching for a working student (f/m/div.) with experience in test automation, scripting and programming. Ideally you are familiar with Python and C++ and you have some experience with AI.
Depending on your skills and preferences you will support us in our day-to-day operations in embedded software development on following possible topics:
- During your assignment, you will design and model SW architecture.
- You will automate the evaluation of vehicle test measurements.
- You will improve the slope estimation algorithm using AI.
- Last but not least, you will research on C++ libraries and methods for usage in embedded SW.
Qualifications
- Education: master studies in the field of Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Cybernetics or comparable
- Experience and Knowledge: in Python, C++, general programming / scripting
- Personality and Working Practice: proactive, analytical, solution-oriented, communicative and team-minded
- Enthusiasm: fascination for automotive engineering and software development
- Languages: good in German or English

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months – 10 h/week
