YOUR TEAM
A huge upheaval is currently taking place in the automotive world. While engines, design and comfort have been the defining elements for decades, digital topics are now the most important. Agricultural machinery manufacturers began this change several years earlier. High-precision, fully autonomous harvesting vehicles with a wide range of additional digital services have been available for several years now. Coming from similar structures to car manufacturers, agricultural machinery suppliers have managed to successfully implement changes in their companies' development organizations and processes. What can we learn from the automotive perspective? We, the Northwest Works Council, are looking for a candidate who would be willing to approach this question in a (Master's) thesis.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support in the in-depth analysis of transformation processes at agricultural machinery manufacturers
- Collaborate with the “Works Council Northwest” team to to identify best practices for software development
- Conduct analysis and comparison of development processes at large agricultural machinery manufacturers
- Coordinate the process of agile software development and method transformation
WHO YOU ARE
- Enrolled Master's student in a technical or agricultural science degree program or equivalent field
- Demontsrated interest in transformation processes and software development
- Ability to work independently and think analytically
- Communication skills and team spirit
- Fluent in English and German
