Who will you be joining? 

The Global Sourcing & Procurement division of Allianz is located as a service provider in Allianz Group. As part of Global Sourcing & Procurement, Procurement Development & Analytics is driving and transforming the global steering of all international procurement teams, especially focusing on Governance, Processes, Tools and Reporting.

The aim of our Team is to drive best in class procurement and become more and more data driven. We are ensuring that Allianz has the best strategies to provide products and services for the requesting business units on the right quality level ’on time’ and ‘in function’. The key to doing this is to draw on the best skills, market knowledge and following continuous innovation bundled with harmonization and simplification. The close collaboration with local procurement teams around the globe and the business units rounds up this picture.

We offer a bundle of core services and support the core business of the Allianz Group. Due to the interaction with various service providers, departments and nations, we handle a wide range of diverse topics, collaborating on an international level through our Procurement Community. Depending on the abilities, knowledge and interests of our working students and interns, we can offer a variety of diverse assignments and responsibilities. You will be part of our truly international team as well as our processes and tools from day one and are supporting us in getting closer to our ambition – generating customer satisfaction and best in class conditions for the Allianz Group. 

How can you make an impact? 

• Gain insight and overview of various elements in contracts and respective contract management tool
• Participation in various project related task for the regulatory readiness of contract content and contract meta data
• Support to Contract Management function increasing data quality
• Creation, revision and updating of documents and information (e.g., presentations, Excel Lists)

What are you made of?

Minimum Qualifications 

• Studies in economics, (business) informatics, or similiar
• Very good command of written and spoken English, good command of German language a plus
• Experience from another internship or as working student is appreciated
• Requirement for internship and working student positions is the enrollment in a university – or (for an internship) a gap year
• We can only consider your application if you provide the following documents:

  • Certificate of enrollment (exception gap year)

  • Valid Work and residence permit (for non-EU citizens). Please check before applying if you can work with your current VISA

• Previous experience in business related functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital/ Tech etc.) is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially very good Excel skills to work with complex data
• Powers of comprehension, open minded, curious to learn, and detail-oriented
• Team orientation and communication skills
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
