STUDENT ASSISTANT – FORTISS IIOT LAB, NETWORK-AWARENESS IN THE IOT-EDGE-CLOUD CONTINUUM (M/F/D)

Who are we?

Your tasks:

· Get acquainted with the netma-nsm-mon component and with the overall fortiss CODECO demonstrator.· Analyse the current tool, perform experimentation based on parameters agreed with the supervisor.· Contribute to the next version of netma-nsm-mon (concept and development).· Implement and improve the proposed algorithm within the experimental environment.Support the validation and demonstration of the proposed concepts.

Your profile:

· Currently enrolled on a Master’s degree in computer science, information systems or similar.· Practical experience with TCP/IP, in particular network probing tools· Practical experience with network analysis tools and traffic generators such as iPerf.· Practical experience in programming languages preferably Go, Python.· Experience with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and alike is valued.· Good communication skills in English, basic German skills is a plus.
