Working Student - Strategic Planning (f/m/d)

Clearstream ensures that cash and securities are promptly and effectively traded between market participants and that its customers are always notified of the rights and obligations attached to the securities they keep under its custody. Additionally, Clearstream provides services for investment funds, collateral management and securities lending.

Your area of work
As a working student (f/m/d) you will support the team in the Strategy & Transformation department significantly being dedicated to driving the company's long-term vision and operational excellence. We focus on strategic planning, business transformation, and innovation to ensure sustainable growth and competitive advantage. Our team collaborates across all functions to implement impactful changes and optimize performance.
You will support strategic initiatives, conduct market research, and assist in the development and execution of transformation projects.

Your responsibilities:

• You will assist in the development and execution of strategic initiatives, including data analysis and project management
• You will conduct market research and competitive analysis to support business transformation projects
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data for strategic planning
• You will prepare presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management
• You will support the implementation of process improvements and operational efficiencies
• You will participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions for innovative solutions

Your profile:

• You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least 2 semesters (Study focus in the field of economics, business studies, or other relevant fields)
• Ideally, you have already gained first practical experience in the context of Strategic planning in Corporate Strategy or Consulting industry (e.g. ideal wise with first experience abroad though internships or University programs)
• You are interested in Digital Transformation, Financial Markets and current trends for market infrastructure providers
• Thanks to your cooperative manner, you quickly find your way into the team. Your strong analytical skills, creative thinking, and ability to work independently help you to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics.
• You have very good knowledge, built up through previous practical work experience, in standard applications (PowerPoint, Excel etc.)
• You are fluent in written and spoken English
