About the team:
IT Services – Client Technology Workplace (CTW) is the global provider of client workspace related technologies such as WTS/VDI, OS/SW deployment and Client Management and protection services. We deliver services both SAP internally as well as for external SAP partners, vendors and customers. We ensure the Rock-Solid operations for the services in scope across the Globe following the sun, thru a combination of Managed Service and internal experts.
As Intern in CTW Service Management, you will be assisting our Service Management Team during sourcing processes. You will learn about IT bidding process, contract development (preparation, negation and sign off) and hardware/software sourcing.

Location: Walldorf (remote work possible within Germany)
Expected start date: Mar 01, 2025
In this role, you’ll:
- Collaborate and work jointly with the local team, the global team, and related stakeholders
- Support certain day-to-day business processes e.g. preparing presentations for the management, providing status reports, creating templates, monitoring fulfillment of tasks, scheduling appointments, document procedures, preparing reporting documents etc.
- Handle Hardware / Software and training orders in SAP Ariba
- Organize meetings, take minutes of meeting and maintain actions list with SAP and Supplier inputs.
- Can independently drive initiatives and tasks end-to-end
Who you are:
You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
- Student of Bachelor’s/Master’s Student (f/m) enrolled at a university focus in the area of International Management, Translation Studies (focus English), Business or related discipline. Enrolled in a master’s program is a plus but it is not mandatory.
- Experience of 1 to 2 years in field of Support, Operations, Procurement or Project Management is an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote, Outlook); knowledge of SAP Ariba and Fieldglass is an advantage.
- Process Documentation is a plus
- Capable in taking minutes of meeting
- Capable to manage tasks on time and commitment on deadlines
- Knowledge of business processes and transactions such as contracts, sourcing (requests for quotes/price, auctions) and supply chain is an advantage.
- Wish to work cross-culturally.
- Preferred Language: Excellent English written and verbal communication skills; German is a plus.
