Our acoustics team is looking for a working student for acoustic tasks on rail vehicles:
- Support of the acoustic engineering during the project execution for S-Bahn Rheinland and DT6 (continuous updating and variant investigations based on existing calculation models for interior and exterior noise, update of the project documents on the basis of supplier feedback, creation of simulations for the sound insulation of the overall superstructures of car body)
- Support of measurement setups and execution of acoustic tests
- Measurement data evaluation and reporting of acoustic tests
- Database maintenance and transfer of reports to the ALSTOM Acoustics Database (Sharepoint)
The required qualifications are:
- Studies in one of the fields of technical acoustics, mechanical engineering, rail vehicle technology, physics, engineering or a comparable field of study,
- very good basic knowledge in the field of acoustics,
- Confident handling of MS Office programs, especially MS-Excel,
- good knowledge of Englisch is desirable,
- High level of commitment, assertiveness and communication skills, flexibility.
The place of work is Alstom, Am Rathenaupark 1, 16761 Hennigsdorf near Berlin and in consultation also mobile work is possible.
