Job Description

• During your thesis you will conduct a state-of-the-art review studying existing solutions of integration with solid isolation suitable for the application and select a solution to develop or propose a new concept (approx. 1.5 months).  
• You will design a model of the component using analytical equations, 2D/3D finite element simulations or other methods, and optimize the design to meet the established objectives (approx. 2.5 months).
• Additionally, you will build and test the component using a given part as base. You will then compare the results with the previously modelled data and evaluate them against the established objectives and existing solutions (approx. 1 months).
• Finally, you will write an academical thesis summarizing the whole project (approx. 1 month).

Qualifications

• Education: studies in the field of Electric Engineering, Electronic Engineering or comparable 
• Experience and Knowledge: in design of magnetic components for power electronics and FEM simulations
• Personality and Working Practice: you excel at generating innovative ideas, working independently to tackle challenges, and approaching problems with a solution-oriented mindset
• Languages: fluent in English

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months
