Your Tasks:
As SW Safety Engineering Student, you will be contributing to ensure that the NXP software products delivered to the automotive customers are compliant with ISO 26262 and we have all the controls and org setup in place in the BL Automotive SW R&D to achieve this.
Contribute to the project functional safety and cybersecurity deliverables: Impact Analysis, Safety and Cybersecurity Plan, SW Tools Evaluation and Safety Case
Contribute to plan the safety confirmation measures and cybersecurity audits, according to the assessment plan; ensure and monitor their proper execution and acceptance
Contribute to ensuring that the company process correctly implements functional safety at project level
Highlight and report the safety risks identified at the project level
Support the Project Functional Safety Manager to interface with the Safety Assessors team
Learn and understand the development methods required by ISO 26262
Your Profile:
Enrolled student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar
Strong motivation to learn about SW safety engineering
Basic understanding of Automotive and Industrial Systems
Pro-active and autonomous way of working
Fluent English and the ability to work within international teams
Job location: Munich, on-site
Contract type: ~6 months internship, 40 hrs/week
