The EMBL Alumni Relations Office is seeking an intern to join their team at EMBL Headquarters in Heidelberg. We are looking for a motivated and outgoing student or a young professional.
The Alumni Relations data intern will be trained to search, up-date and maintain alumni data (approx. 10,000 records) in EMBL’s Contact Relations Management System. This is an excellent opportunity for interested candidates to gain experience working in an international organisation, in an open and collaborative atmosphere, and to get an insight into the work sector of advancement (alumni relations, communications and fundraising).
Your role
- Searching, up-dating and maintaining the data of 10,000 alumni worldwide using internet searches, especially LinkedIn.
- Working with EMBL’s Contact Relations Management system: inputing, extracting and presenting data
- Liaising with alumni directly regarding their data, and or access to the alumni portal
You have
- a good command of English
- a good eye for detail
- very good computer and communications skills
- experience with Microsoft office, especially excel
- ability to work independently
You may also have
- experience with CRMs, international organisations, alumni relations and communications
Contract length:
- 6 months initiatially (renewable)
Salary:
- 550 / month
