Donaueschingen: Mandatory internship/thesis: Programming and expansion of a multi-axis setup for application testing

Summer Semester 2026 – limited to 6 months

YOUR TASKS:

• Standardize test cases in coordination with stakeholders

• Implement an HMI into the existing test system

• Translate specifications into software modules

• Document and validate software modules

• Integrate the system with the overarching test system

YOUR PROFILE:

• Enrolled in a degree program in Automation Technology, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field

• Knowledge of C++, ST (Structured Text), TwinCAT III, and TIA Portal

• Experience with controllers (e.g., Siemens, Beckhoff), software development, and commissioning of mechatronic systems

• Strong team spirit and communication skills

• Independent, structured, and methodical working style
