This challenge awaits you:
Do you like cars and love software? Then you've come to the right place! Here you will work on the latest vehicles, which are characterized by complex electrical/electronic (E/E) architectures and functions. With your work, you will help to ensure that these are brought to market on time with a high level of quality.
The focus of your work will be to assist in building a development environment for automated testing of networked vehicle functions. This position can be completed as part of an internship or a thesis.
Your Tasks:
- Research on the latest methods for test design and test automation
- Support in the design of test cases
- Design of algorithms for the implementation of automation routines
- Design of algorithms for test data generation and evaluation of non-functional test objectives
- Analysis and evaluation of generated data packages
- Use of latest test software at existing test stations
- Execution of test activities on test benches and in vehicles
Necessary Skills:
- Ongoing studies in mathematics, physics, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable course of study
- Strong interest in automotive and technology trends in the automotive environment
- Programming experience in an object-oriented programming language (e.g. Python, Java, C++)
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
Desired Skills:
- Good knowledge of Python is already desirable (dealing with class structures, "built-in" modules and libraries such as "NumPy", "Scikit-learn" "Pandas" or "Matplotlib").
- Experience in dealing with IT concepts, e.g. software architectures and cloud services is desirable
- Networked and interdisciplinary thinking as well as a systematic and structured way of working
- Creativity, commitment, goal orientation and ability to work in a team
